Located on the eastern shore of Maryland, Ready to Code grantee Kent County Middle School students develop projects for their community. After interviewing local businesses and community organizations, students learn applied coding and computational thinking by developing the projects to meet the individual needs of the business or community organization. Laura Jacob, Supervisor of Technology for Kent County Public Schools, shares students’ progress and where they intend to be at the end of the program.
