The Rural Utility Service (RUS) is now accepting applications for funding for three small programs directed at improving broadband connectivity for rural libraries and others in rural areas. Two of these programs may be beneficial for libraries in rural areas that are seeking a broadband connection.
Applications for all three programs are due on June 7, 2010 (only paper applications will be accepted). The RUS will hold webinars to explain these three programs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, May 18, 19 & 20, 2010.
The application packages for all programs are available at http://www.broadbandusa.gov.
