Time Warner Cable has announced that it has begun an innovative program to award stipends designed to foster research dedicated to increasing understanding of the benefits and challenges facing the future of digital technologies in the home, office, classroom and community. The stipends will vary in amount, up to $20,000. Individual researchers affiliated with universities and not-for-profits, including libraries, will be eligible to apply for the stipends.
