ALA is pleased to announce that, on September 28, President Bush signed The College Cost Reduction Act of 2007 (H.R. 2669) into public law. Congress passed H.R. 2669 in early September.
The College Cost Reduction Act creates a new student loan forgiveness plan through the Direct Loan program for public service employees. Qualifying areas of employment include librarians.
