ALA welcomes Macmillan expansion of library ebook lending

This month Macmillan will offer its entire ebook backlist to libraries, as reported in Publishers Weekly. Hachette to Raise Library Ebook Prices

Hachette Book Group plans to raise the price of ebooks to the library market by 104 percent starting October 1, 2012, according to reports issued yesterday.
