Call your U.S. Senator to get school librarians into the “Keep our Educators Working Act of 2010”

Legislation is expected to be introduced tomorrow morning in the U.S. Senate that will provide $23 billion in aid to help school districts hire and retain educational professionals.  Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) will introduce this bill.  While librarians are not specifically mentioned in this bill, school librarians will be able to receive some of this funding.  However, it has been ...
