Quick Update on Federal Library Funding

As you know, this week Congress finally passed a continuing resolution (CR) that would fund the federal government through January 15, 2014 as well as raise the federal government’s borrowing power through February 7, 2014.

This short term CR will fund the federal government at its current FY’13 level.  For libraries that mean the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) will be funded at the level of $175 million.  For more information on LSTA please click here.
