The ALA as part of the Library Copyright Alliance (LCA) has released a paper exploring the Costco v. Omega non-decision. The document, titled “The Impact of the Supreme Court’s Decision in Costco v. Omega on Libraries” (pdf) prepared by Jonathan Band details legal options in the copyright law that support libraries who lend foreign-made copies in their collections.
