The American Library Association today submitted comments to the Department of Education regarding today’s meeting on the Striving Readers Comprehensive Literacy (SRCL) Program.
The comments highlighted the ways libraries can contribute to the success of this program and recommended that the Department include the benefits of utilizing, and partnering with, public and school libraries as part of the SRCL discretionary grant application.
