Check Out Committee Caller

We recently discovered a website that allows you to call every member of any given Congressional committee: CommitteeCaller.com. It’s an interesting idea for when there’s an important issue being discussed in committee.

The way the system works is, you choose the Committee you want to call and then enter your phone number onto the website. The system calls you back and automatically connects you to each Member of Congress on that committee, going through each Member one by one in alphabetical order by state.

I did a test run and chose to call the House Committee on Appropriations (66 members). CommiteeCaller put me right through to the office of Rep. Aderholt (AL). I hit [star] to disconnect from that office and then the system asked me to rank the helpfulness of the office on a scale of 1 to 5. Then it moved right along and called Rep. Cramer’s office.

If you have a chance, give CommiteeCaller a shot and let us know what you think!
