Today, Ellen R. Tise, President-Elect of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), joined several members of staff from the ALA Washington Office for a discussion on international library advocacy efforts.
Ms. Tise shared her messaging for libraries and also discussed how other countries’ work on E-government can help ALA in its efforts to establish the role of U.S. libraries in that cause.
Ms. Tise is Senior Director, Library and Information Services, at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.
