Last Chance to Contact Your Senators and Representative on Library Funding!

U.S. House and Senate conferees will meet Thursday, November 1, to reconcile differences in the fiscal year (FY) 2008 Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill, which contains funding for several library-related programs. The Senate-passed bill contains $171,500,000 for the Grants to State Library Agencies program within the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).

Urgent Action needed: Please contact your Senators and Representative and tell them to support the Senate-passed funding level!
