DC SLA Presents: Giving Libraries a Second Life

What exactly is Second Life? How can I use it in my library? On April 25, the DC chapter of the Special Libraries Association will host a program entitled ” Giving Libraries a Second Life in a Virtual World”. Four panelists, including Justin Thorn, Michelle Springer, Kristina Lively, and I (Mark Bard of ALA/OITP) will answer these and other questions about this new virtual environment.

The program starts at 6:30 at the World Wildlife Fund (1250 24th St., NW Washington, DC), and advanced registration is required before April 20.
